Christmas update

A quick post given that the end of 2018 is almost upon us. I hope this year has been a productive one for you.

Since my paper was published earlier this year, I’ve been busy wrapping up my thesis, Towards Scalable Characterization of Noisy, Intermediate-Scale Quantum Information Processors. I defended my thesis at the end of September; the slide deck for the defense talk is available here. I am now affiliated with IBM Q, where I work as a quantum computing applications researcher.

I plan to attend SQuInT 2019 in Albuquerque and the 2019 APS March Meeting in Boston. If you will be attending either event and want to meet up, let me know.

Enjoy the last few days of 2018, and all the best for 2019!
